Neurosis - Sovereign (Hydra Head)

Scarce 2000 black vinyl test pressing of Hydra Head Records-issued 12" EP. Blank labels on disc. Includes foldover paper info strip.

This test pressing pre-dates the earliest known test press for this release. It does not have the "RE1" matrix etched in the trail off area. Matrixes for this disc are:

Side A: HH666-60A It's Steve With Tiny Hands...
Side B: HH666-60B ...On The Phone 

Why this test pressing was rejected is unknown, and whether the audio differs in any way from the re-cut version is also unknown.

It is unknown how many copies of this test pressing exist, but as far as we can tell this is the first copy publicly available for sale.

Unplayed, direct from label. We just acquired a personal archive of Hydra Head Records and related labels from someone closely associated with the label. There are color variations on many of the LPs, and all are New or Like New.
