Up for sale is a personally SIGNED copy of Jon Hassell's "Aka Darbari Java" on the Editions EG label, catalogue # EGED 31 from 1983.  This is from my personal record collection and its overall condition is super clean and very good plus.  The outer jacket shows only mimimal signs of wear and finger and/or shelf contact as I kept it in a special plastic over sleeve.  There are tiny signs of shelf contact on three corners with a tiny mark on the bottom right.  The center left spine-side has a tiny pucker and the top and bottom center show the rounded imprint from the record inside.  The overall white of the jacket is clean with hardly any signs of aging.  Jon's autograph is in the central back portion of the jacket. The original paper inner sleeve has rounded edges and shows a little puckering from being pulled in and out of the outer jacket with only a hint of yellowing.  The vinyl record itself is in near mint condition.  No scratches, no ghosting, no marks whatsoever on it.  I may have played it 2 or 3 times, but usually made a tape copy of my new albums and played the tape to preserve my records. Produced by Jon Hassell and Daniel Lanois this lp is from 1983.  Jon Hassell plays trumpet and on this record on this musical journey, he blends indigenous sounds and instruments from Indonesia's Java including gamelan, drumming from Senegal etc.  I guess you can say he takes his own and other voices, various instruments including his trumpet playing and using computers and layering effects, he weaves them into 2 long pieces one on each side to create a musical journey introducing the listener to sounds they might not otherwise hear in an eclectic aural experience.  Daniel Lanois and Michael Brook, along with a few others also assist in the creation of this recording.  Track information is as follows:
