** CLASSIC DELANEY & BONNIE SOUTHERN ROCK VINYL LP - 1969 1st PRESSING ON GOLD ELEKTRA LABEL  **

An Excellent condition disc. Lustrous, shiny vinyl. A few very light hairline marks, which can only be seen under a very strong light, where the record has been taken out of the sleeve over the years. No visible spindle marks. Very clean labels on both sides. Original STEREO mixes of both sides. No skips, jumps, warps, sticking, scuffs, scratches, or writing on labels. This LP has been played very few times. Very good sound quality throughout, with very little surface noise. A very listenable LP. Tested on a Thorens turntable.

Gatefold Sleeve in Very Good+ condition. Would have been graded as Excellent other than a name has been written on both front and back (see photos). Apart from that, there is very little wear of any sort. No creasing. No seam splits. Original price code sticker intact. Spine in excllent condition with all text still clearly legible.

Supplied in original company sleeve, which is in excellent condition, apart from a small 2cm seam split in the middle of one edge.

GRADING:

All records are graded using the 'Record Collector' format:

MINT (M): The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR (P): The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD (B): The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
