The vinyl IS SUPER GLOSSY AND BRIGHT  with just a few wispy hairlines  - it is quite amazing how this record has been preserved like this since it was pressed!

  NO POPS STICKS OR JUMPS

IT PLAYS SUPERB THROUGHOUT WITHOUT MUCH STATIC AT ALL!!! AND A WONDERFUL LISTEN

OVERALL THIS IS A GREAT EXAMPLE OF THIS HIGHLY PRIZED LP.

THE SLEEVE

Original 1st edition MATT TEXTURED GATEFOLD sleeve!

AS YOU CAN SEE THIS IS THE 1ST ISSUE SLEEVE -... WITH THE  TEXTURED  FINISH

LITTLE SIGN OF HANDLING AND THERE'S NO RUB OF ANY NOTE AT ALL

THE SLEEVE IS IN GREAT SHAPE- NO DULLING ANYWHERE- NO GRUBBY MARKS ANYWHERE AND NO CREASES OR TEARS - THE SPINE IS 100% LEGIBLE

NO RINGWEAR

VINYL: VG++. I can only say this is in great condition, plays with no distortion, no jumps, few plays only evidenced by a few spindle traces only. Just a few faint hairlines under a bright light. Some paper retraction trace lines visible under a strong light source. 99% of Lp's will have this. Please few all pictures for a true impression of this beautiful classic. I have played it on my Linn Sondek Arcam set up and it sounded gorgeous with the fullest possible audio as only a true first press ever can with barely any crackle at all.

           GATEFOLD SLEEVE :

EX. UK 1st Press non-laminated fully textured gatefold cover. With B&C 37 Soho Square, London, W1. credit on the inside cover at the bottom is Printed E.J. Day.  Rarely seen, fully textured with all print on the spine in full lustre and 100 % legible, not much storage wear on the edges. Barely any evidence of storage, this is as good as it gets for this album. The inside gatefold is likewise in excellent to near mint condition.

LABELS:

Clean, No Writing, light spindle traces, no damage. Large Mad Hatter.

GRADING SYSTEM: In order to assist everyone who buys and sells rare discs, Record Collector magazine has originated a set of standards for the condition of second-hand records, I have added a (+) or (-) to my gradings where applicable.
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.  EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.  VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc. FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced. POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

PAYMENT:

Items must be paid for within two days.

This is a unique investment opportunity!!! The next prog album to go completely through the roof. Finding this album in any condition at all is nearly impossible so late in the day. Get this while you still can. This value of the album is only going to go one way ... up and up ... until it will be totally unavailable at all for a reasonable price.

Though there are rarely ever any problems with my items, I always try my very best to describe everything exactly!  PLEASE REMEMBER to contact me FIRST,  if you have any problems at all, before you leave feedback and star ratings, so I get a chance to turn any negative experience into a positive one!  I can always happily sort anything out for you, if you let me know you have a problem!  This way no one has to leave Negative/Neutral feedback - and we both walk away happy! Similarly with the amount of stars, anything less than a full 5 * rating is effectively detrimental to a seller's rating as lower ratings will incur higher Final Value Fees  and lower priority in the bidlists eventually making it unattractive to list items on Ebay at all. I know of at least one major previous Ebay seller who has decided not to list via Ebay again. Please do NOT bid if you cannot give me at least 1 chance to sort everything out to your FULL satisfaction in the unlikely event of a problem.  Thanks again!!
