Recorded live on April 22, 1979 at Canada’s Oshawa Civic Center to benefit the Canadian National Institute for the Blind.

The New Barbarians were formed and led by Ron Wood primarily to support his third solo LP, 1979’s Gimme Some Neck. The line-up included Keith Richards, bassist Stanley Clarke, keyboardist Ian McLagan, drummer Zigaboo Modeliste and saxophonist Bobby Keys.

The CNIB gig fulfilled one of the conditions of Keith’s 1978 sentence for possession of heroin following his bust in a Toronto hotel in 1977.
