DESCRIPTION: Deep Purple LP- Machine Head. 1ST UK press complete with A1U/B1U matrix , "The Gramophone" rim text and insert.  "Made In Great Britain" to labels. Laminated gatefold sleeve with correct original white inner. Strong VG+ all round. Postage cost includes tracking and a box mailer. Packed this weighs over 500gm so overseas postage is as for a double. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Purple/EMI TPSA 7504 YEAR OF RELEASE: 1972 COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): VG+/VG+. Vinyl is clean with a nice dark sheen. Very near to visual EX. Played passages of this today on my budget deck. Sits flat on the turntable. Plays EX.  Music is clean, clear and loud.  Cover is in nice clean condition. It is firm and square and has minimal edge-wear, light corner-wear and minimal creasing.  Clean inside to gatefold.  It has a 2cm blacked in strip of moderate to heavy to top of spine preventing EX grade.  Original white inner has light wear and yellowing, fully attached poly and no splits.  Insert has fairly light wear with a couple of nicks out of the top corners.  Really clean labels. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE. EACH EXTRA SINGLE DISC LP IS ROUGHLY £1.75 TO EUROPE, £2.75 TO THE AMERICAS AND £3.25 TO THE REST OF THE WORLD.
