Bizet – Carmen – Maria Callas, 1964 3-LP stereo Boxed Set, HMV Angel Series SAN 140-2. This is a nice example of the stereo 3-LP boxed set of Carmen by Bizet, starring Maria Callas in the title role. It was released on EMI’s HMV Angel Series label in 1964 – SAN 140-2. All three records are in EX+ to Near Mint condition. The box still contains the original card packing / spacer sheet and the 20-page booklet that explains the plot and gives the lyrics in French and also translated into English. The booklet is in perfect clean condition with no rips, scribbles, rust on the staples etc.
