Out-of-issue for over 25 years, this UNPLAYED MINT GEM GOLD vinyl Micky Dolenz 45 is from a rare Monkees series issued by Collectables Records.
Micky knocked around the L.A. music scene for years before The Monkees conquered the world in 1966. At one point in his pre-fame career he fronted a band called Micky & the One-Nighters. After The Monkees hit, Gene Autry's Challenge Records pulled these early sides out of the can and hurriedly issued them to capitalize on the fame of the former star of Circus Boy.
Challenge released Don't Do It first; the record reached #75 on the Hot 100. Huff Puff was then issued as the A-side of a follow-up 45, but it failed to chart.
