I HAVE A FRIEND WHO IS songwriter/producer/engineer etc. and this is one of the records HE USES to test sound systems for clarity and low end. Great sounding record. The songs and the playing are stellar. I love most of what this great band has done over the years and this one is different from the others in it's striving for a decidedly different approach. That's what makes this band great, they seem to still sound like themselves, but stretch and try different things on every record they do. Highly recommended!
