CLIFF RICHARD & THE SHADOWS: Dynamite / What´d I Say (estimated mid- to late 60´s* / scarce Japanese 7" / ODEON OR-1215 / black-silver label / the p/s is a double-paged sheet with English and Japanese lyrics of both songs on the inner pages / in most other countries "Dynamite" was coupled with a different B-side (in the U.K. the B-side of this 7", "What´d I Say", was released in 1963 as an export-only pressing (Columbia DC 758), and most likely this song did remain unissued on 7" format in almost all other countries of the world) / so presumably this coupling of songs on one 45 was only released in Japan / *I´m not quite sure about the release year: in the scan you´ll see a small price imprint ("Yen 400") on the bottom of the picture sheet - at first look you might think, that it´s a sticker, because the imprint isn´t quite straight, but obviously it has been imprinted and is an "integral part" of the p/s, so it has to be assumed, that this p/s has been manufactured towards the end of the 60s, when the Japanese price for 7" singles had been rising to Yen 400; in other words: this must be the 2nd pressing, not the first one, because presumably the first pressing sold at Yen 330 / the picture sheet has a golden "Odeon" sticker on the bottom of the frontside) CONDITION P/S: VG+(+)
CONDITION VINYL: VG(+) DESCRIPTION: the corners and the top of the picture sheet are a bit bent / there´s a light ringwear on the backside, while the frontside and also the inner pages of the picture sheet have almost no ringwear / the vinyl looks a bit lacklustre/matt, but there are only very few and very light hairlines on the surface, the record has no deeper "serious" scratches / the labels are clean
