Jimi Hendrix Experience – Are You Experienced, 1967 LP Track 612001. This is a decent example the LP – Are You Experienced by The Jimi Hendrix Experience. It was released on the Track label in 1967 – 612 001. The matrix numbers end in A-1 and B-1. (actually, it has little triangles rather than dashes, but I cannot type those!) There is some light scratching on the first side that at first glance looks worrying. But I have just played most of it through and there is just the occasional light ‘tick’. Nothing regular and it is negligible. Anything else that might be there simply blends in with the music. So I am grading the first side as VG and the second side as close to EX. But having said that – the first side sounds fine to me!The front-laminated Ernest J Day & Co sleeve has some minor ring-wear on the back but still grades as close to EX.
