Judy Garland was the original "Annie" in the film version of "Annie Get Your Gun". Because of ill health and personal difficulties, she was replaced midway through the filming by Betty Hutton. Prior to start of production, the complete soundtrack of the score (which comprises this album) was recorded. Frank Morgan (Wizard of Oz) was signed for the part of Col Buffalo Bill and is featured in this album. He died before the second version of the film started. Included are "Let's Go West Again" (written for Judy Garland) by Berlin and dropped when she was no longer a part of the film). "Anything You Can Do", "I'm An Indian Too", "The Girl That I Marry" (Judy Garland was to do a takeoff on Howard Keel's solo).
