This is an original LP from The Go-Go’s 1984 release, Talk Show. It was recently discovered after three and a half decades in climate-controlled storage.

 

Talk Show is The Go-Go’s album you never hear about, but you should. If the band’s second album, Vacation, was too much of a departure from Beauty And The Beat, their monster debut, Talk Show is the prodigal band’s return home as a fundamentally better, tighter, more confident band.

 

This release includes a custom color-printed inner sleeve with lyrics on one side and pics of Belinda, Charlotte, Gina, Kathy, and Jane on the other. This particular copy was originally purchased at Tower Records in West Covina, California, on August 20, 1984.
