From a brand-new 2019 UK box set of 23 Beatles 45s we just opened!  ABSOLUTELY UNPLAYED MINT Paperback Writer/Rain with a faithful version of the 1966 Turkish PICTURE SLEEVE.  Mastered at Abbey Road from the original tape of the single's mix.  You'll never find a Turkey 1st pressing this immaculate & the pic sleeve is a heavy-duty posterboard rather than the flimsy 1966 paper sleeve.

Audiophiles & Beatles specialists prefer Brit pressings for superior vinyl and original mono mixes.  Until the late '60s producer George Martin mixed all Beatles recordings to mono (often with the band's input).  Other EMI employees would later remix to stereo with little or no guidance from Mr. Martin or The Beatles.  These virgin vinyl, original mono mix 45s are a revelation, especially for American fans who've only heard muddy Capitol wax.  U.S. Capitol often used 2nd or 3rd-generation tapes for their masters & pressed American 45s and LPs on recycled vinyl, which often has pops & clicks even on new records.  UK vinyl was pressed on virgin vinyl & sounds much better!

           This 45 will sound great on your turntable & the pic sleeve is superb...put it in The Vault!
