***** WELCOME TO ALLHART99 RECORDS *****
The first of only a handful of solo albums this Byrds genius recorded in his lifetime, this pre-psych folk masterpiece not only includes some wonderful moody, trippy, minor-key ballads, but also almost half of the Byrds (Mike Clark and Chris Hillman), and was partially produced by legendary half-Byrd brother Gary Usher (produced Byrds, Beach Boys, Sagittaris, tons of others). And, sure enough, if Gary Usher is producing, country legend Glen Campbell can't be too far behind - he is playing 12-string guitars here. Finally, Leon Russell is on keyboards. Oh, yes…let us not forget the celestial harmonies of the Gosdin Brothers, who almost received equal billing on the cover of this album. A critical Byrds artifact and a must for any Gene Clark collector.
Track listing: Echoes - Think I'm gonna feel better - Tried so hard - Is yours is mine - Keep on pushin - I found you - So you say you lost your baby - Elevator operator - The same one - Couldn't believe her - Needing someone -
