Here is a NICE BOX SET for someone’s vinyl collection!

ALL THINGS MUST PASS” BOX LP SET by GEORGE HARRISON

This is Apple Records STCH - 639.

Initial First Pressings of this Apple Box Set did not have the Apple Records address printed inside the lid, initial inner sleeves did not have the copyright info printed on them.

The APPLE BOX SET in this AUCTION is a LATER FIRST PRESSING with the Apple Records address printed inside the lid and the copyright info printed on the colored inner sleeves.

The second pressing has “All Rights Reserved” printed in the perimeter of the Apple labels, and “APPLE” was removed from the spine of the box leaving only “STCH - 639”.

This box set has 3 discs. Two of the discs have CUSTOM ORANGE-TINTED APPLE LABELS. The third record has GREEN-TINTED JAM JAR LABELS entitled “Apple Jam”.

Initial copies of this box set were issued November 27, 1970, but this later initial box set was probably issued in 1971.

The box set contains:

Box with hinged/attached lid that holds the contents

3 Vinyl LP Discs

3 custom inner sleeves

Color poster of George Harrison

This box set DEFINITELY contains some of George Harrison’s best work including: “My Sweet Lord”, “Wah-Wah”, “Isn’t It A Pity”, “What Is Life”, “If Not For You” (a Dylan composition), “Beware of Darkness”, “Apple Scruffs”, “All Things Must Pass”, and others.

The BOX itself is graded VERY STRONG VG to MODERATE VG+ CONDITION. As you can see, the FRONT COVER IMAGE on the box lid is VERY NICE and CLEAN. There are a few ripples on the front cover slick, but that occurred at the time of manufacture. There is very light overall wear on the front slick. The front slick was easily prone to soiling, but this one is quite clean. The black textured rear of the box has very minimal wear, but there is a very small skinned spot or tear near an edge that measures only ¾ -inch x ¼ -inch and can really only be seen when the box is turned at certain angles reflecting the light. THERE ARE NO CORNER SPLITS on the top (lid) or bottom of the box, and the BOX LID is STILL HINGED to the box bottom! On many of these boxes, the hinging is destroyed separating the lid from the box bottom, and corners are so often split such that it’s not even a box at all!

The VINYL (all 6 sides) is in NICE NEAR MINT CONDITION. “MFD BY APPLE RECORDS, INC.” is in the perimeter printing on the labels.

The 3 TEXTURED-PAPER CUSTOM INNER SLEEVES are included.

The Purple-Tinted Sleeve for Sides 1 and 2 shows minimal signs of handling, and there are NO SPLITS.

The Gray-Tinted Sleeve for Sides 3 and 4 shows minimal signs of handling, and there are NO SPLITS.

The Green-Tinted Sleeve for the “APPLE JAM” disc shows minimal signs of handling, and there are NO SPLITS, but there is a very small and light 1-inch fold/crease on one of the bottom corners.

The 35-INCH X 23 ½ -INCH POSTER of GEORGE HARRISON is also included and is in NEAR MINT CONDITION with minimal signs of handling and NO TEARS/NO SPLITS at the junction of the folds where splitting often occurs.

It’s a VERY NICE LATER FIRST PRESSING of GEORGE HARRISON’SALL THINGS MUST PASSBOX LP SET to add to your vinyl collection!
