I have played this in FULL> The replay is ASTOUNDING!!! There are not any jumps, pops or skips. There is barely any background noise at all!! Very remarkable for this 1971 vinyl!!! The heavy vinyl with high groovewalls provides a fantastic audio experience with channelling not equalled by the later CD version. I played this on my Technics turntable with a Linn cartridge and through my very revealing Rotel amp and B&W three way speakers!!! A beautiful CLASSIC with supreme songcraft, a joy to listen to!!!!

Way back in 1977 I bought this album in a second-hand shop for 50c (back when 50c was real money!). Ever since I have been fascinated by its completely random folk/rock/world/jazz/classical/circus music sound. Songs run into other songs, turn on a dime and become something else; tracks are abruptly cut off; a couple sound like radio plays, and there's a Japanese interlude. I knew absolutely nothing about the band, not even their names; in fact the only name on the sleeve I knew was John Peel, on whose Dandelion label it was originally released. Later on I realised the Nick Mason listed as producer was the drummer from the Floyd, but the band themselves remained a mystery -- certainly who played what. And that's the way it has stayed. About once a year I will pull this, now battered, old album from the racks and give it an affectionate spin, marvelling at how its hippie/collage sound has become almost contemporary (really, Pavement's Slanted And Enchantedis the closest I can come to describing the way this record sounds, although musically they're far apart). In its sheer facelessness this album allowed me to project my own thoughts, dreams and desires onto the music, until I almost came to believe I had made it myself. This record has probably warped me for life. (From: rateyourmusic.com)

Vinyl: EX+.  I'm very happy to be able to present this gem in this wonderful condition. Barely played. The audio is simply sublime played on my Technics deck with Linn Sondek cartridge and through my ROTEL amp and B&W speakers.  This really heavy vinyl sounds out of this world, a majestic album that went largely unnoticed at the time and still is an unbelievable curio not unearthed by many yet. There are NO marks and NO hairlines. Only a few paper retraction traces only visible under a strong light source. The audio has beautiful separation and there is hardly ever any background noise. I played this through in full and thoroughly enjoyed it. I was even tempted to keep this as it will be very hard to find this again, it is indeed mega rare now in this kind of condition. The labels have no spindle traces. Needless to say NO jumps, clicks or ticks. The best you will find by miles. This will be a fantastic upgrade for most long time collectors!!

Gatefold Sleeve: VG++ to EX.  Fantastic looked after  sleeve . Lovely colours and no stickers or damage.  Moderate edge wear and a spine which is 80% legible.  A tiny crease to the rear left bottom corner. Lightly rubbed corners. I have only ever come across this album twice before, it is very scarce. The album still has its original inner sleeve which has age related yellowing. the inside gate is NM and displays all lyrics. No splits or tears.

This is a unique investment opportunity!!! The next prog album to go completely through the roof. Finding this album in any condition at all is nearly impossible so late in the day. Get this while you still can. This value of the album is only going to go one way ... up and up ... until it will be totally unavailable at all for a reasonable price.

Though there are rarely ever any problems with my items, I always try my very best to describe everything exactly!  PLEASE REMEMBER to contact me FIRST,  if you have any problems at all, before you leave feedback and star ratings, so I get a chance to turn any negative experience into a positive one!  I can always happily sort anything out for you, if you let me know you have a problem!  This way no one has to leave Negative/Neutral feedback - and we both walk away happy! Similarly with the amount of stars, anything less than a full 5 * rating is effectively detrimental to a seller's rating as lower ratings will incur higher Final Value Fees  and lower priority in the bidlists eventually making it unattractive to list items on Ebay at all. I know of at least one major previous Ebay seller who has decided not to list via Ebay again. Please do NOT bid if you cannot give me at least 1 chance to sort everything out to your FULL satisfaction in the unlikely event of a problem.  Thanks again!!
