** "Made in Gt. Britain" printed on both labels - This only appeared on the first pressings **

** "The Gramophone Co. Ltd." text printed on the rim of both labels - This only appeared on the first pressings **

An Excellent- condition disc. Shiny lustrous vinyl. Very few surface marks can be seen in normal daylight, and a few minor surface marks can be seen under a very strong light - mainly from where the LP has been taken out of the sleeve over the years. A few small scuffs and a very small scratch at the very start of Side 2 (see photo) causes a few slight clicks. A few centre spindle marks. Original STEREO mixes of both sides. No skips, jumps, warps, sticking, scuffs, or writing on labels. Both labels in very clean condition.

Excellent sound quality throughout, with very little surface noise, apart from at the very start of Side 2, as previously mentioned. Very listenable LP. Tested on a Thorens turntable.

Gatefold sleeve is the first UK issue LAMINATED VERSION, and in Excellent condition. "Printed and made by The E.J. Day Group" printed to centre of rear of sleeve. Very little general wear. No major creasing. No seam splits. No writing anywhere. Some minor wear to corners and opening edge. Spine in excellent condition, with all text still clearly legible.

Supplied in original plain white inner sleeve, which is in excellent condition, with no seam splits or writing anywhere, but with some age-related discolouration in places.

GRADING:

All records are graded using the 'Record Collector' format:

MINT (M): The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR (P): The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD (B): The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
