This album is an original 1984 release of the Footloose motion picture soundtrack. All elements—vinyl, cover, labels, and sleeve—are in near-mint (NM) condition. Playback is excellent start to finish.

 

Three months after its release, Footloose reached number one on the Billboard 200 and stayed there for eight weeks. Seven of its nine tracks were released as singles, two of which went to number one. And at last count, it has sold well over nine million copies, which makes it one of the best-selling soundtracks of all time. But don’t buy Footloose for the hype; buy it for the instantly recognizable opening notes of the title track—notes that take you back to a time when a movie about a small town’s ban on dancing was a big deal.
