Blondie, 1976 self-titled debut first album by the band Blondie, pioneers in the mid-1970s American punk and New Wave movement.  Private Stock Records, PS2023, vinyl 33rpm 12” vinyl stereo LP.  Matrix etch codes indicate this is a 1976 or 1977 Promo version; there is no Promo sticker. I purchased this around the time of original issue, possibly at a used record store in New York’s East Village where I lived, not far from CBGB’s where Blondie first came on the music scene in 1975.

The album Blondie was “originally released on Private Stock in January of 1977, although test pressings date from December of 1976 and some may have been sent out as promos at that time.  Chrysalis bought out their contract in August of 1977, so they repressed it after that time.” (discogs.com)

CONDITION/GRADING: I have graded to the best of my ability using Goldmine guidelines:

 LP (Vinyl/Label): Very Good Plus (VG++/VG+) Excellent clear playability with no audible surface noise or skips. Vinyl is bright with good gloss and no scratches or scuffs noticed.  No spindle wear. Clean labels with exception of my name written in light pen on Side Two.

Cover/Sleeve: Very Good Plus (VG+) Clean bright cover with approx. 100% original gloss remaining.  No scuffs or paper loss to front or back cover.  Corner wear, and some shelf wear scuffing along edges.  No ring wear.  A few light creases along spine.  My name is written in pen on top back cover, barely visible on the cover’s black background.

Shipping Note: LP will be shipped in a sturdy cardboard LP mailer with protective inserts, for safe shipping.

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS PLEASE NOTE: Contact me for a shipping quote before bidding/paying because due to some late international shipments sent First Class I recommend shipping all international sales by Priority International unless requested otherwise, so that packages can be tracked for delivery.  Whenever possible international shipments will be sent Flat Rate Priority to save on shipping charges.  If you request economy First Class International for small packages please be aware that delivery time for 1st Class International shipments can vary from 3-4 days to up to up to 4-5 weeks, and that First Class International packages cannot be tracked if a package is late or lost.  Due to size, some items cannot be sent First Class International.
