TODAY, I'M SELLING MOST OF MY JOHN LURIE & LOUNGE LIZARDS ALBUMS & CDS! THE VINYL HAS BEEN ON MY SHELF FOR DECADES! Read The Details Below... NOTE: I haven't had a turntable since last century, so this sale needs to be considered "as is." My John Lurie/Lounge Lizards records were rarely played. Back when I used to have 6,000 albums, many got very little turntable time, so I would be shocked if most of these were ever spun more than once or twice - and you can tell by how good the vinyl looks. I'm not a "record seller," and I don't know "grading," but I will describe each the best I can. If you're not happy after the sale, just contact me. I don't give PARTIAL refunds, but I WILL make sure you're satisfied.

JOHN LURIS
Original Soundtracks From "Down By Law" And "Variety" (LP, 1988) Capitol Records C1-90968 First Press. Cover Had Virtually No Issues, No Nubbed Corners.
Barely ever played and the vinyl sheen reflects that. Vinyl is gorgeous, though I did see (under a harsh light) one minor little mark on it. Couldn't feel it at all and had to look close to even find it a second time. The cover virtually no issues whatsoever. All else looks like what it is... an album that's been sitting undisturbed on a shelf for over 30 years. Pics are the actual item you're buying.

ALL MUSIC GUIDE REVIEW  The soundtrack to Jim Jarmusch's 1986 film Down By Law is composed and performed by John Lurie, who also plays the pimp Jack in the movie. His world-weary avant-jazz pieces like "Please Come to My House," "What Do You Know About Music, You're Not a Lawyer," "Strangers in the Day," and "Fork in the Road" convey the film's seedy but humorous crime story.
