"Defrosted" picks up where Frijid Pink's eponymous debut album left off. That is, it rocks from start to finish. The band, led by lead guitarist Gary Ray Thompson cranks out blues-based rock and roll Motor City style for 50 solid minutes. The album contains the single "Sing A Song For Freedom" which reached #55 on the charts, a disappointing follow up (chart wise) to "House of the Rising Sun" from their debut album which reached #7 in the summer of 1970, just months prior to the original release of "Defrosted."
