An original Terre Haute Pressing vinyl 2xLP album copy of Pink Floyd's The Wall (1979), Gatefold jacket, Catalog# PC2 36183. The jacket is in VG (Very Good) condition. Keep in mind that this copy will be 42 years old November 30th of this year. The jacket has some staining, some scratches on the front/back cover, a bit of corner wear, and a bit of ring wear. One of the original inner sleeves is missing (Sides 1 & 2). The vinyl albums are in VG+ condition with a few light marks/light scratches. These should not affect playback of the records. Both albums still have LOTS of shine & gloss. All the inner labels are in good shape with some spindle marks.
This could appeal to any Pink Floyd fan, classic rock fan, or make a nice addition to any record collection. Note: I believe I there are groups on Facebook if you would be seeking a replacement inner sleeve.
The Wall is the eleventh studio album by Pink Floyd and it was released back on November 30, 1979. . It is a rock opera that explores Pink, a jaded rock star whose eventual self-imposed isolation from society forms a figurative wall. The album was a commercial success, topping the US charts for 15 weeks and reaching number three in the UK. It initially received mixed reviews from critics, many of whom found it overblown and pretentious, but later received accolades as one of the greatest albums of all time and one of the band's finest works. The album went to #1 on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart. It went onto to sell 11,500.000 copies in the United States, and 30 million copies worldwide.
