Timeless, emotionally relatable and in some ways quite ahead of its time,   Wish You Were Here exists as one of the most essential progressive rock albums ever conceived.

It’s safe to say that everyone has the fear of losing a friend that is near and dear at some point. Whether it be from death or by losing one in other ways, no matter how the dreaded event happens everyone always has different ways of coping with it and Pink Floyd used music as the outlet for recovery. In addition to being a critique of the music industry, Wish You Were Here boasts a long, two part epic devoted to recalling memories they had of Syd Barrett before his eventual mental breakdown and paying tribute to him. By extreme stroke of luck, he paid them a random visit during the recording of this album and sadly, none of the band members recognized him even in the slightest at first. This further emphasized the point they were trying to make here and really gives meaning to the real and timeless nature of this record. It’s chilling, emotional, passionate and truly deserving of every ounce of acclaim the record has received over the years. Essentially, Wish You Were Here exists as one of the greatest achievements in progressive rock as a whole. (from: sputnikmusic.com)

Vinyl: EX.  Great first press vinyl!!! Appears to be barely played, and really looks glossy with a beautiful sheen and lies completely flat on the turntable. There are no marks and only two very faint hairline traces can be spotted under a strong light. Also there are no spindle traces at all. I have played this on my Linn Sondek/Arcam set up and it sounded out of this world with beautiful stereo separation. An upgrade for many Floyd collectors.

Sleeve: EX.  This single sleeve is in great condition. The spine is 100% legible. The edges have barely got any wear. A couple of wispy spine creases but other than that no creases. The opening is super crisp. It is as good as it gets.

Inner sleeve: EX. Die cut opening and all edges are sharp. No seam splits , no writing etc..

Though there are rarely ever any problems with my items, I always try my very best to describe everything exactly!  PLEASE REMEMBER to contact me FIRST,  if you have any problems at all, before you leave feedback and star ratings, so I get a chance to turn any negative experience into a positive one!  I can always happily sort anything out for you, if you let me know you have a problem!  This way no one has to leave Negative/Neutral feedback - and we both walk away happy! Similarly with the amount of stars, anything less than a full 5 * rating is effectively detrimental to a seller's rating as lower ratings will incur higher Final Value Fees  and lower priority in the bidlists eventually making it unattractive to list items on Ebay at all. I know of at least one major previous Ebay seller who has decided not to list via Ebay again. Please do NOT bid if you cannot give me at least 1 chance to sort everything out to your FULL satisfaction in the unlikely event of a problem.  Thanks again!!
