I have recently acquired over 200 Classical LPS mostly from the 1970s/1980s - MAJORITY OF THE VINYLS ARE IN MINT/NEAR MINT  CONDITION and MANY APPEAR TO HAVE BEEN PLAYED ONCE OR TWICE.  Unfortunately a lot of the sleeves are discoloured near the spine.

Have checked vinyl under bright light - only wispy lines/hairlines visible / 

Shiny piece of vinyl that after all these years still has a deep sheen. 

Not sure if the vinyl has been played more than once or twice - no tell tale signs 

Record labels are in superb condition with the print clearly visible and the artwork in mint as new condition.  

No writing on the record label 

No sticky residue or discoloration. 

Small number of spider-marks + no significant spindle wear.

The sleeve has general light storage wear from rubbing & handling etc  i.e the sleeve has some small light creases  & 

Sleeve is discoloured on/near the spine

GRADINGS ARE BASED ON RECORD COLLECTOR MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. I DO NOT SELL ANY VINYL GRADED LESS THAN VG, UNLESS IT IS ANYTHING THAT IS VERY RARE OR SPECIAL.
