This vintage original Beatles item is one of more than 100 Beatles records, posters, books and other memorabilia from the collection of Ron Schaumburg, author of the 1976 book “Growing Up with The Beatles!”  In his famous book, Ron, 23 at the time of the publication, wrote of listening to and following the Beatles through radio, records, TV, movies and print through the 1960s and ‘70s. 

Many items I will be listing are pictured in the book itself!  I’ll point out these special listings and refer to the page where they appear, but suffice to say, each and every item here served as inspiration for the quintessential “from a young fan’s perspective” Fab Four book. 

Ron entertained me with stories about the book and his life as a Beatles fan.  He was kind enough to sign a copy of his celebrated book for me as well.  I will post a picture of the book and his note in each auction when I have room.  Sorry, I’ll be keeping this copy! CONDITION NOTES:  This original Beatles item comes from the Ron Schaumburg collection!  I did not find it in his famous book, "Growing Up with The Beatles," though certainly it served as inspiration for the book! This is the UK release of the famous record and did not come with a cover sleeve, as did the US release.  The album cover comes with a clear plastic coating that has a few raised lines, but nothing too bad.  The cover also has some faint discoloration, spotting and ring wear, but , again, nothing too bad.  The inner sleeve is excellent.  the record has no significant wear and certainly nothing that would affect play.  PLEASE REVIEW THE PICTURE(S) AND JUDGE THE CONDITION FOR YOURSELF.  

NOTE: I try to take clear pictures in indirect sunlight that clearly show the item’s natural color as well as any flaws so please be sure to view the picture(s) in order to judge the condition for yourself.  I will note any flaws not readily visible in the pictures.  Please feel free to ask any questions as well. 

Please note that the camera picks up lint and dust resting on the items and accessories that may appear as flaws. Please examine each picture carefully for actual flaws keeping in mind that most of these items look far better in person than they do in the pictures. I will note in the CONDITION NOTES any details or flaws that are not readily apparent in the pictures but please keep in mind that I sometimes miss a small problem.
