Ferdi Tayfur-Kurtuldum Ferdi Tayfur is one of the best figures in the World of arabesque in Turkey. Arabesque is a musical genre like the Laiko of Greek people which combines folk and Middle Eastern elements with usually a western harmonization. In those days Tayfur was making collaborations with eclectic musical geniuses such as Özer Şenay and Mustafa Sayan. The LP is from 1985 when analogue recording and one take sessions were in place in Turkish musical industry. Therefore the LP reflects the innocent days of arabesque and popular music in Turkey. The experiments were at their peak in the album. You can even hear an upbeat drum beats accompanied by the signature grieving singing of Ferdi Tayfur. The music is fantastic, the cover is fantastic, the period which the LP captures the soul is fabolous. Enjoy with Türküola Quality !!!
