Here is a collection of twelve 12-inch 78 RPM records from the 1940s in a library binder. Included in the set:
Gershwin: Concerto in F for Piano and Orchestra. Oscar Levant (piano). Andre Kostelanetz, Philharmonic Symphony of New York. Columbia Masterworks MM 512. Five records.
“The Heart of the Symphony” containing movements from eight symphonic works by Beethoven, Schubert, Brahms, Tchaikovsky, Rimsky-Korsakov, Dvorak, and Franck. RCA Black Label Classic Set G-15. Four records.
Tchaikovsky: Nutcracker Suite Miniature Overture and Waltz of the Flowers. Sonora 19004.
Ignace Jan Paderewski (pianist) performing Minuet in G Major (Paderewski) and Moonlight Sonata, 1st movement (Beethoven). Victor Red Seal 16250.
Wagner: Tannhauser – Grand March and Flying Dutchman Overture. Sir Thomas Beecham, London Philharmonic. Columbia Masterworks 69327.
The records have all been played and appear to be in good, well cared for condition.I do not feel qualified to offer grading judgement on these old records, and I have no way to listen to them. The library case is in fair condition, with a detached spine (included if repair desired). There is slight scuffing and corner wear and all 12 sleeves are in perfect shape. These records have been stored flat and are not warped.
