Chasing the Sun" is a project that looks back at the years 1993-1997, before Oasis became a global phenomenon. The third part of the project, "Be Here Now", was recorded at Abbey Road Studios, Ridge Farm Studios and Air Studios with producer Owen Morris between October 1996 and May 1997. It was released at midnight on Thursday, August 21, 1997. The album sold 700,000 copies in just three days, making it the fastest-selling album in British history at the time, and the third consecutive album to reach No. 1 on the UK Albums Chart. Three singles were released from this album, including "Do You Know What I Mean? and "All Around the World" reached number one on the UK singles chart, and "Stand By Me" reached number two. For the "Chasing the Sun" series, Ian Cooper of Metropolis Mastering has remastered the original recordings. The D2C Super Deluxe Box Set was not released commercially, but was imported only from Sony Music Shop in Japan. In addition to the 3CD deluxe edition and 2LP, the box set also includes a 6-song 12-inch analog disc (with 6 Mustique Demo songs), a 7-inch single analog disc (with 2 early demos by Mark Coyle), a promotional CD (D'You Know What I Mean? Know What I Mean? (NG's 2016 Rethink)), and a gorgeous 60-page hardcover book, 12" prints, key ring, and four sets of postcards in a gorgeous box. This is a very rare box, hard to find anywhere else, and a must-have item for Oasis fans.
