Elvis Presley - Elvis' Christmas Album
Very rare 1st UK 1957 WHITE LABEL TEST / SAMPLE PRESSING in superb NM / EX+ condition.
Issued on RCA, this copy is an absolute 1st pressing with a groove around the perimeter of the label. RCA lps were pressed in the UK by Decca, around 1958 Decca presses changed and the labels had a groove closer to the centre hole, so all later issues of this lp have a different label groove than this 1st press example.
Matrix Numbers: Side 1. H2PP-6526-1B Side 2. H2PP-6527-1B
Both sides have the absolute 1st press 1B mother and stampers at 9 and 3 O'clock in the dead wax - 1B is the earliest mother / stamper available for any UK Decca pressing.
Genuine superb copy - the record has seen very little use, just a couple of tiny spindle marks on the label, record grades NM / EX+.
White labels have "Not For Sale" written in red biro pen.
The poly-lined inner sleeve is the original sleeve this lp was obtained in. The Decca company sleeve was added by myself at a later date just to protect the lp when stored. Tip top condition Excellent the 1 time this record been available on the market a true rarity
