You may remember that in 2011 Target Stores in the U.S. sold an exclusive and limited edition of four Beatles 45 RPM singles. Each record was packaged along with its picture sleeve and a Beatles t-shirt in a box. The 4 singles released, reportedly with a limited pressing of only 10,000 copies each, were:

“Can’t Buy Me Love/You Can’t Do That”

“Help!/I’m Down”

“Hello Goodbye/I Am The Walrus”

“Let it Be/You Know My Name Look Up The Number”

And in 2019, Target issued an exclusive and limited edition “Abbey Road” LP box “bundle” that included the remastered LP, cover and T-shirt.

This Beatles LP title was originally released on Apple Records on May 8, 1970.

The LP in this auction is the TARGET STORES EXCLUSIVE LIMITED EDITION BOX/BUNDLE that was released October 15, 2021.

This LP is a Capitol Records release in cooperation with Universal Music.

The vinyl has Apple labels.

It is B0033733-01.

It is an EXCLUSIVE and LIMITED EDITION ISSUE.

The VINYL CONTAINS A NEW MIX by Giles Martin, son of the late George Martin, the Beatles brilliant musical director and producer, and Sam Okell.

This box/bundle contains the LP cover, the LP vinyl, and a “Let It Be” T-shirt.

The T-shirt size in this box is L for LARGE.

This item is MINT STILL SEALED CONDITION. There are NO “dings”, NO tears in the shrink wrap and NO pushes on the corners.

I have a feeling that these Target store exclusive and limited edition issues are destined to become REAL BEATLES COLLECTIBLES in time.
