Questions ALL ABOUT THE BEATLES” Answered by Louise Harrison Caldwell (Sister of George Harrison) LP

George Harrison’s sister, Louise, had moved to southern Illinois (Benton) in 1963. Her Scottish husband was an engineer with a local coal mine there. George came to visit her in Benton on a 2-week vacation 5 months before The Beatles made their first TV appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show.

According to the LP’s rear cover, “Louise became rather dismayed over the number of untruths that were being printed about her brother and his three great buddies. She was asked by RE-CAR RECORDS if she would like the opportunity to tour some of the cities of the United States and appear live, ON THE AIR of some of America’s outstanding radio stations to answer young America’s questions and, if possible, to ‘set the record straight’… Louise welcomed the opportunity to tell the truth about the BEATLES. This album is the result.”

The LP cover states that it was “Recorded Live on the air at: WMEX, Boston, WNOR, Norfolk, WHK, Cleveland, WKNR, Detroit, KIMN, Denver”

The LP has 5 tracks, one for each of the interviews at the 5 radio stations.

This LP is RE-CAR RECORDS 2012. It is a legitimate, authorized, and licensed pressing, and it is guaranteed NOT to be a bootleg.

It was released in 1964

This is the ORIGINAL U.S. PRESSING, not the re-released import issue.

This LP was “Manufactured at Recar Inc., 2948 1st Avenue South, Minneapolis, Minn.”

The COVER is in NICE VG+ CONDITION. There is a promo punch hole at the top left corner, very light wear on the corners with two very small “pushes” on the bottom two corners, very light wear at the bottom center of the front cover slick and on the white edges of the rear cover slick. There is NO WEAR on the SPINE and SEAMS; they are NICE and STRONG! As you can see in the images, the COVER REALLY LOOKS VERY NICE INDEED!

The VINYL is graded on the WEAK SIDE of VG+ CONDITION

A VERY RARE EARLY BEATLES-RELATED LP to add to your vinyl collection! (In fact, this is only the 2nd copy I’ve ever seen or had in more than four decades of collecting Beatles.)
