CUSTOMER UPDATE SEPTEMBER 2022
For the past 2 years GG_Supersounds has been listing records that in the main are in Mint or very close to it condition. We continue to track down and list the very best records that we are able to for our ever growing customer base For those that have been with us over that period of time will know that there are two business partners listing on the site. One from Horsham and the other from Bognor Regis From time to time this has been confusing for our customers as there often 2 invoices to pay where purchases are made from different locations by one customer To rectify this we have decided that the Horsham location will continue to list on GG_Supersounds, whilst the Bognor Regis location will now list on GG-Superstuff.
IT WILL STILL BE POSSIBLE TO BUY FROM BOTH LOCATIONS AND HAVE COMBINED SHIPPING, BUT THIS WILL BE RELIANT OF THE TWO OF US MEETING UP, AND WILL THEREFORE USUALLY TAKE MORE TIME, BUT IT IS DO-ABLE
Nothing Else Changes - Still the same superb selection of the best records will be available

For the protection of all concerned we only send signed for and tracked and signed

DEEP PURPLE - MACHINE HEAD

IN MAGNIFICENT NEAR MINT CONDITION

THE  A-1U / B-1U FIRST PRESS

NEAR MINT SLEEVE WITH POSTER

CATALOGUE:PURPLE TPSA 7504 MATRIX: TPSA7504 A-1U / B-1U MOTHERS/STAMPERS:1 LM / 3 TA BARELY PLAYED VERY EARLY FIRST PRESS

A GENUINE FIRST PRESS OF THIS ICONIC ALBUM. ONLY FIRST PRESS VINYLS HAVE THE LABELS WHICH READ 'THE GRAMOPHONE CO' AROUND THE RIM. ALL LATER ISSUES HAVE 'EMI RECORDING'

THE RECORD

THE LABELS

THE PURPLE AND WHITE LABELS ARE IN SUPERB ORIGINAL UNMOLESTED CONDITION. THE PURPLE BASE COLOUR IS RICH AND VIBRANT, AND FULLY STRETCHES INTO THE UNWORN SPINDLE HOLE. THE WHITE CENTRE SECTION IS ALSO WHITE AND UNMARKED. THERE ARE 5-6 SPIDER LINES CLOSE TO THE HOLE TO BACK THIS UP

THE VINYL

THE VINYL IS A HEAVYWEIGHT DISC AND SHINES LIKE NEW. THERE ARE NO MARKS ON THE VINYL AND EVEN WHEN OFFERED UP TO INTENSE ILLUMINATION, THERE ARE JUST A FEW VERY FEINT HAIRLINES AND A COUPLE OF WISPY LINES

THE TEST PLAY

THE LP PLAYS THROUGH BRILLIANTLY ON BOTH SIDES, AND I WOULD ENCOURAGE YOU TO TAKE A GOOD LISTEN TO THE SOUNDBITES WHICH DEMONSTRATE JUST HOW FANTASTIC THIS LP SOUNDS.T

HE STEREO REPRODUCTION IS JUST MAGNIFICENT

THE RECORD PLAYS WITHOUT ANY DISTORTION, MEANING THAT THERE IS NO GROOVE WEAR

NO EMBEDDED VINYL NOISE

NO BACKGROUND CRACKLE

NO LOUD TICS OR CLICKS

THE LINKING GROOVES ARE NEAR SILENT WITH A COUPLE HAVING A TINY SPECK OF BARELY AUDIBLE STATIC IN THEM

A TINY SPECK OF VERY LOW-LEVEL BACKGROUND IN A COUPLE OF SPOTS ON THE TRACK 'LAZY'

A REALLY SUPERB EXAMPLE OF THIS 1972 CLASSIC

HAPPY TO GRADE THE AUDIO NEAR MINT

THE SLEEVE

BEAUTIFUL LAMINATED GATEFOLD SLEEVE FROM GARROD AND LOFTHOUSE

THE FRONT SURFACE GLEAMS LIKE A MIRROR AND HAS NO CREASES OR BENDS AT ALL ON ANY PART OF THE SURFACE.

THE LAMINATE IS VERY GLOSSY. NO LIFT, PEEL OR FLAKE

THERE ARE FIVE LAMINATE PRESSURE LINES CLOSE TO THE SPINE. NONE ALONG THE TOP OR BOTTOM EDGES, AND NO THUMB LINES NEAR THE OPENING EDGE

THE TOP AND BOTTOM EDGES ARE TOTALLY UNWORN, AND THIS INCLUDES ALL EIGHT CORNER TIP ENDS WHICH REMAIN UNBLEMISHED

THE SPINE IS ALSO FULLY LAMINATED, TOTALLY FLAT AND THERE IS NO PEEL OR FLAKE TO THE SURFACE, AND EVERY LETTER OF THE TYPEFACE IS PERFECTLY LEGIBLE.

THE OPENING EDGE IS RAZOR SHARP

THE REAR SURFACE IS EVERY BIT AS CLEAN AND MARK FREE AS THE FRONT. AGAIN NO HEAVY CREASES OR BENDS, AND JUST 3 PRESSURE LINES BY THE SPINE

OPENING THE GATEFOLD REVEALS A PRISTINE NON LAMINATED INNER SURFACE WITH UNMARKED PANELS.

THE ORIGINAL FOLD UP POSTER HAS ONE CORNER CREASE AND A LITTLE HANDLING WRINKLES AND A COUPLE OF TINY NICKS TO THE ENDS OF THE FOLD LINES

VERY HAPPY TO GRADE THIS SLEEVE NEAR MINT

THIS IS A SUPERB COLLECTIBLE COPY OF THIS MAGNIFICENT ALBUM, AND WILL NOT NEED UPGRADING

GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR BID IF YOU CHOSE TO GO FOR IT
