Vinyl Grading Guide

 

The vinyl is graded with thestandard UK Record Collector Magazine grading system.

 

All items listed are UK release,standard black vinyl unless stated.

Covers and packaging are gradedfirst, then the disc(s)... for example:

Ex- / Vg+ - (Cover / Disc)

 

Mint (M)

The record itself is in brand newcondition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The coverand any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfectcondition. 

 

Excellent (Ex)

The record shows some signs ofhaving been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. Thecover and packag­ing might have slight wear and/or creasing.

 

Very Good (Vg)

The record has obviously beenplayed many times, and may have slight deterioration in sound quality,noticeable sur­face marks and the occasional light scratch. Sleeve will havewear and tear, as expected for it's age.

 

Good (Gd)

The record has been played somuch that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with somedistortion and scratches. The cover and contents suffer from significantfolding, scuffing of edges, discolouration, etc.
