A PRAISE GATHERING Words and Music by BILL and GLORIA GAITHER and RONN HUFF The Sanctuary Choir of First Baptist Church has grown from 26 members to a membership of 157 in three years. Not only has the choir grown in number, but God continues to pour out His spiritual blessings upon each person. The objective of the Sanctuary Choir is to glorify Christ through music, to proclaim the message of salvation in song, and to complement the ministry of the spoken word. God has great things in store for this group of Spirit-filled, committed singers. ALLELUIA! was presented by the Sanctuary Choir and Orchestra on Good Friday, March 28,1975, at the Atlanta Civic Center. The foreman at the Civic Center estimated that 7,500 people came for the performance and around two thousand had to be turned away. Throughout the entire presentation the presence and power of the Holy Spirit were evident to all. The choir was prepared musically and spiritually to be used of God to the maximum and lives were changed as a result. This recording of the musical ALLELUIA! is dedicated to the Glory of God, trusting that its use may lift hearts in praise, change lives, and bring people to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
