All members of the Quartet are young and are certainly to be commended for using the talent God has given them for His glory. I would like to take this opportunity to give special recognition to the tenor singer, Brother Eddie Ramey, who served his country in South Vietnam. There he met with disaster which cost him the loss of one leg and one eye, rendering him incapable of continuing active service for his country; but thank God he has now enlisted in the Army of the Lord, where if his services were graded, they would certainly have to be marked “EXCELLENT.” Many of my friends have asked me for an album with “THE PRODIGAL SON” on it and I am very grateful that the Quartet has graciously asked me to put it on their second long play album. I certainly hope it will be a great blessing to all who hear it, for it portrays a portion of God’s word, which we find in St. Luke Chapter 15. This Quartet can be heard each Sunday morning from 9:00 till 9:30, over Radio Station WSWV - 1570, Pennington Gap, Virginia. The Christianaires Quartet consists of Doyle Ramey, Lead; Judy Ramey, Alto; Eddie Ramey, Tenor; Mike Mooney, Bass; and Bro. Cecil Evans doing the recitation. Bro.
