This LP is Vee Jay Records VJLP 1062.

It was released in 1964.

This is a MONO (Monaural) Pressing.

This is Version 2 of this LP with column back cover and includes the cuts “Ask Me Why” and “Please Please Me” which replaced “Love Me Do” and “P.S. I Love You” that are on Version 1 of this LP.

This label variation is VJ 1062(2).MR2D, because it has “SIDE” and “SIDE 2 designations and “MICROGROOVE” and “LONGPLAYING” are in uppercase letters with “LONGPLAYING” printed as one word.

The LABELS have a BLACK BACKGROUND & RAINBOW COLORBAND with the WHITE VJ BRACKETS LOGO.

BOTH COVER & VINYL ARE ABSOLUTELY AUTHENTIC!

1) The cover has George’s shadow and spine printing.

2) The labels have “THE BEATLES” above the spindle hole.

3) The vinyl disc has “AudioMatrix” partially and lightly stamped into the trail-off (dead wax) on both sides.

So you can bid with confidence that you are receiving the real deal and not a counterfeit cover or vinyl.

The COVER is in VERY STRONG VG to WEAK VG+ CONDITION. There is very light overall wear. There is almost no wear on the corners. The FRONT COVER IMAGE is NICE and CLEAN with VERY MINIMAL WEAR. There is just a light/slight circular discoloration to the left of Ringo’s shoulder. The seams and spine are solid and strong with NO cracking, NO flaking and NO splitting. There is some light aging/”foxing” on the white rear cover and a name written in blue ink at the top left corner. There is also a small repaired tear st the lower left corner of the rear cover. Overall, not at all a bad-looking cover for this LP. (You know how hard it is to find this cover with the front cover image as nice as this one.)

The VINYL is in STRONG VG CONDITION with a number of light surface hairlines/scuffs (none of them are “feel-able”.) There is minimal wear around the spindle hole, and the vinyl has LOTS OF GLOSS!

Overall, a NICE COPY of “Introducing… THE BEATLES” for your vinyl collection!
