CUSTOMER UPDATE SEPTEMBER 2022
For the past 2 years GG_Supersounds has been listing records that in the main are in Mint or very close to it condition. We continue to track down and list the very best records that we are able to for our ever growing customer base For those that have been with us over that period of time will know that there are two business partners listing on the site. One from Horsham and the other from Bognor Regis From time to time this has been confusing for our customers as there often 2 invoices to pay where purchases are made from different locations by one customer To rectify this we have decided that the Horsham location will continue to list on GG_Supersounds, whilst the Bognor Regis location will now list on GG-Superstuff.
IT WILL STILL BE POSSIBLE TO BUY FROM BOTH LOCATIONS AND HAVE COMBINED SHIPPING, BUT THIS WILL BE RELIANT OF THE TWO OF US MEETING UP, AND WILL THEREFORE USUALLY TAKE MORE TIME, BUT IT IS DO-ABLE
Nothing Else Changes - Still the same superb selection of the best records will be available
For the protection of all concerned we only send signed for and tracked and signed
REGULAR VISITORS TO OUT SITE WILL BE AWARE THAT WE HAVE BEEN LISTING A COLLECTION OF MINT RECORDS, WHICH WE OBTAINED A COUPLE OF MONTHS AGO. WHAT YOU WILL NOT BE AWARE OF IT THAT AMONGST THIS COLLECTION WERE A BATCH OF 60'S LP THAT ARE IN THE SAME EXCITING CONDITION.
UNLIKE THE LATER 70'S AND 80'S RECORDS IN THIS COLLECTION, THE 60'S RECORDS HAVE HAD ONE OR TWO PLAYS.
HOWEVER BECAUSE THE 60'S VINYL WAS FAR MORE FORGIVING; THEY SOUND EVERY BIT AS PERFECT AS THE LATER PRESSINGS WE HAVE BEEN OFFERING
WE ARE DELIGHTED TO BE ABLE TO NOW FINALLY LIST SOME OF THESE CLASSIC ALBUMS FROM THE 60'S ALONG WITH THE COMPLETE RECORDING OF EACH RECORD, SO THAT WHEN WE SAY MINT, YOU ARE ABLE TO CONFIRM IT BY TAKING A LISTEN
I HAVE ADDED A MAGNIFICENT PINK FLOYD ALBUM TODAY
FULLY TEST PLAYED AND RECORDED PRIOR TO LISTING SO YOU CAN HEAR IT BEFORE BIDDING
Powered by eCommercePlayer.com Powered by eCommercePlayer.comPINK FLOYD - WISH YOU WERE HERE
IN MAGNIFICENT ONE PLAY NEAR MINT CONDITION
FIRST PRESS SLEEVE STILL IN SHRINKWRAP
POSTCARD AND INNER INCLUDED
CATALOGUE:HARVEST SHVL 815 MATRIX: SHVL 815 A-1 / B-5 MOTHERS / STAMPERS: 4 RLP / 5 AO FIRST PRESS VINYL
THE RECORDS
THE LABELS
THE LABELS IN PRISTINE CONDITION.
NO MARKS OR STAINS ANYWHERE. THE COLOUR IS RICH AND VIBRANT.
THE BASE COLOUR FULLY STRETCHES INTO THE UNWORN SPINDLE HOLE, WHERE THERE IS ONE MICROSCOPIC SPIDER LINE
THE VINYL
GLEAMING VINYL THAT LOOKS LIKE A POLISHED MIRROR
COULD NOT LOOK ANY CLEANER, AND IN DAYLIGHT IS TOTALLY FLAWLESS
WHEN PLACED UNDER SPOTLIGHTS ALL I CAN SEE ARE A COUPLE OF TINY WISPY HAIRLINES
PLAYING THE RECORD
WE DO BELIEVE THAT A RARE LP SHOULD BE ABLE TO BE HEARD BY BIDDERS AND SO THAT IS WHAT WE HAVE INVESTED IN. THE BUTTONS AT THE TOP OF THE PAGE WILL ALLOW YOU TO HEAR THE ACTUAL RECORD YOUR ARE THINKING OF BIDDING ON
THE FIRST THING TO POINT OUT IS THAT THE VINYL PLAYS WITHOUT ANY DISTORTION WHATSOEVER ON EITHER DISC.
THE VOCAL CLARITY IS JUST SUPERB. CLEAR AND CRISP, AND PERFORMED THROUGH A SUPERB STEREO REPRODUCTION
THE GUITAR WORK IS ALSO REPRODUCED MAGNIFICENTLY.
THERE IS NO BACKGROUND CRACKLE AND NO LOUD CLICKS
NO EMBEDDED VINYL NOISE AND NO AUDIBLE STATIC AT ALL OTHER THAN A LITTLE IN A LINKING GROOVE OR TWO WHICH IS BARELY AUDIBLE
I HEARD JUST ONE TINY LITTLE DUST POP DURING THE ENTIRE PLAYTHROUGH
THE RECORD PLAYS SUPERBLY ALL THROUGH BOTH SIDES, FREE OF ANY BACKGROUND WHATSOEVER
ANYWAY PLEASE TAKE A GOOD LISTEN AND JUDGE FOR YOURSELF AGAINST YOUR OWN STANDARDS
WE ARE HAPPY TO GRADE THIS VINYL MINT MINUS
THE SLEEVE
GENUINE 1ST PRESS UNLAMINATED SINGLE SLEEVE WITH THE PINCHED SPINE ENDS
VERY HARD SLEEVE TO GET IN A HIGH GRADE COLLECTABLE CONDITION.
THIS ONE STILL HAS THE OPRIGINAL BLACK SHRINKWRAP ON IT
STARTING WITH THE FRONT SURFACE, THE FIRST AND MOST OBVIOUS THING TO POINT OUT IS THAT THE SHRINKWRAP IS IN PERFECT CONDITION. SPLIT ONLY AT THE OPENING EDGE TO ALLOW THE RECORD TO COME OUT
USUALLY THE OPENING EDGE IS WAVY DUE TO THE TIGHTNESS OF THE SHRINK, BUT THIS COPY IT IS NOT. THE SHRIK IS STILL TIGHT, BUT NOT TIGHT ENOUGH TO CASUE THE PROBLEM
THE SLEEVE IS IN PERFECT CONDITION, PROTECTED BY THE SHRINKWRAP
THE CARD INNER HAS AN UNBLEMISHED THUMB NOTCH AND ALL THREE SIDES ARE FREE FROM SPLITS
THE POSTCARD IS IN MINT CONDITION
I HAVE NO HESITATION IN GRADING THIS SLEEVE MINT!!
