World Record Club presents – The Buddy Holly Story, 1975 Flexi Disc + poster + letter + response card in Mailing Envelope, Lyntone LYN 3304. This is a nice example of a single-sided 33⅓ rpm flexi disc titled Hank Marvin introduces The Buddy Holly Story The record was pressed by Lyntone – LYN 3304 in 1975. It contains excerpts from some of the Buddy’s biggest hits with commentary / comments by Hank Martin; its purpose is to advertise the 5-LP boxed set of the same name. The record has a single small indentation. It plays through OK with just a handful of ‘ticks’ at that point – nothing worse. The record is contained in its original mailing envelope, along with a four-page letter, a card to send back to World Record Club if you want to order the record, and a large fold-out poster / brochure that details the records, and the history of the group. There is even an apology on a separate slip of paper for an error in the number of tracks stated in the brochure – 84 instead of the actual 80. Everything is in lovely clean and flat condition.
