Prince and the Revolution - 1999 / Warner Bros 1982 / masterpiece! / VG+. As highly rated as this double LP is I don’t know if it is rated as highly as it should be. No one ever wrote songs like this back when this came out. So many of the lesser known / talked about songs are also truly fantastic. If a song like say for instance Automatic came out today it would be just as brilliant. Cannot beat the combination of sexy lyrics and synth/art/funk/dance rock music. He was the master. Not to mention his musical abilities which there are few that can compare. Enough of me writing - I’m drinking Japanese whisky and smoking …. never mind. Buy this and play it loud. Great copy.
