Duran Duran - this is an original first US release on Capitol’s Harvest label / 1981 debut record / VG+.
It really didn’t do very well here in the states at all. I know I was the only person I knew that had bought it. After their hit album Rio release and their huge MTV fame in 1982 then they reissued this album in 1983. Then this album reached the top 10 on the Billboard chart. Duran Duran early on was influenced musically and very much stylistically by the fantastic band Japan. Of course by Bowie, Depeche Mode and others.
