Very nice original first stereo pressing copy of Elvis' classic Blue Hawaii LP on RCA Living Stereo LSP-2426. Original silver text labels with white dog and "Living Stereo" at the bottom. The disc looks lovely and plays nearly flawlessly and just beautifully. There are a couple of light marks on side one but they don't make a sound. Still plays just about flawlessly, quiet as a mouse even between songs. Simply a beautiful playing copy The cover is just beautiful and very clean except for a short 3" seam split at the bottom, which someone tried to tape; also two name-and-address stamps on the back, and a name written at the top edge. Very very tiny ringwear barely noticeable as well. Still it is a strikingly clean cover with barely any of the usual wear this record always seems to have. Anyhow this copy comes with a few souvenirs from the Coco Palms resort hotel on Kauai in Hawaii, where much of the movie was shot. The original owner said she bought the record there in the lobby of the hotel in the mid 60s when the movie was fairly recent, and they were making it a big selling point. She kept a letterhead and envelope from the hotel, as well as a large postcard showing Elvis during the filming there. All from about the time of the movie. A lovely original copy with some rare relics of the movie.
