CUSTOMER UPDATE SEPTEMBER 2022
For the past 2 years GG_Supersounds has been listing records that in the main are in Mint or very close to it condition. We continue to track down and list the very best records that we are able to for our ever growing customer base For those that have been with us over that period of time will know that there are two business partners listing on the site. One from Horsham and the other from Bognor Regis From time to time this has been confusing for our customers as there often 2 invoices to pay where purchases are made from different locations by one customer To rectify this we have decided that the Horsham location will continue to list on GG_Supersounds, whilst the Bognor Regis location will now list on GG-Superstuff.
IT WILL STILL BE POSSIBLE TO BUY FROM BOTH LOCATIONS AND HAVE COMBINED SHIPPING, BUT THIS WILL BE RELIANT OF THE TWO OF US MEETING UP, AND WILL THEREFORE USUALLY TAKE MORE TIME, BUT IT IS DO-ABLE
Nothing Else Changes - Still the same superb selection of the best records will be available

THE RECORDS

THE LABELS

THE RED AND SILVER LABELS ARE IN JUST MAGNIFICENT CONDITION. THE DEEP RED COLOUR IS RICH AND VIBRANT AND HAS NO MARKS OR STAINS ON IT ANYWHERE. IT ALSO STRETCHES FULLY INTO THE UNWORN SPINDLE HOLE. THE SILVER TYPEFACE AND LOGO'S ARE ALSO IN PRISTINE UNRUBBED CONDITION, WITH EACH LETTER OF THE TYPEFACE PERFECTLY LEGIBLE.

THE VINYL

A GLEAMING DISC THAT HAS RETAINED ALL OF IT'S ORIGINAL LUSTRE AND SHEEN. THIS IS NATURALLY ALSO A HEAVY WEIGHT FIRST PRESS DISC.

IN DAYLIGHT THERE IS NOTHING TO SEE ON THE SURFACE OF THE VINYL, AND IT LOOKS FLAWLESS.

UNDER SPOTLIGHTS ALL I SEE ARE A FEW  VERY FEINT AND LIGHT WISPY HAIRLINES ON THE SURFACE

THE TEST PLAY

THE RICH AND POWERFUL MONO SOUND IS JUST MAGNIFICENT AND PURE FIRST PRESS. THE REPRODUCTION IS JUST SECOND TO NONE, AND EVERY NOTE IS CLEAR AND CRISP.

THERE IS NOT ONE SECOND OF DISTORTION TO THIS AMAZING SOUND, MEANING THAT THE FEW PLAYS THAT THE LP HAS RECEIVED WAS COMPLETED ON A SYSTEM THAT HAD A CORRECTLY WEIGHTED AND UNWORN STYLUS

THE LP PLAYS THROUGH MAGNIFICENTLY ALL THE WAY THROUGH WITHOUT ANY BACKGROUND CRACKLE WHATSOEVER, AND CERTAINLY NO LOUD CLICKS

THERE IS SILENCE BETWEEN 90% OF THE THE TRACKS HAVING JUST SOME VERY LIGHT STATIC LIKE BACKGROUND IN A COUPLE

NO DUST POPS OR TICS

NO EMBEDDED VINYL NOISE

THE RECORDING IS A VERY LOUD MONO CUT AND IS REPRODUCED SUPERBLY, SO PLEASE TAKE A GOOD LISTEN AND JUDGE THIS GREAT ALBUM FOR YOURSELF

I AM MORE THAN HAPPY TO GRADE THIS PLAYTHROUGH  MINT MINUS, FOR THE AUDIO PERFORMANCE

PLEASE TAKE A LISTEN SO THAT YOU CAN GRADE IT FOR YOURSELF

THE SLEEVE

LAMINATED WHITE GATEFOLD FROM GARROD AND LOFTHOUSE

THIS SLEEVE LIKE THE BEATLES WHITE ALBUM HAS A HISTORY OF BADLY YELLOWING, BUT HERE WE HAVE ONE THAT IS STILL VERY WHITE

THE FRONT SURFACE IS IN FLAT AND CLEAN CONDITION AND HAS NO HEAVY CREASING OR BENDING TO ANY PART OF IT, NOR ARE THERE ANY DEFECTS TO THE LAMINATE ITSELF. NO LIFT, FLAKE OR PEEL

THE LAMINATE GLEAMS LIKE A POLISHED MIRROR

THERE ARE JUST THREE SMALL LAMINATE PRESSURE LINES AGAINST THE SPINE. FOUR MICROSCOPIC ONES ON THE TOP EDGE, NONE ALONG THE BOTTOM EDGE, AND  ONLY ONE SMALL THUMB LINE NEAR THE OPENING EDGE

THE TOP EDGES ARE STILL PERFECTLY LAMINATED AND SMOOTH TO THE TOUCH ALL THE WAY ALONG WITH JUST A PIN PRICK OF RUB TO THE RIGHT TIP ENDS.

THE BOTTOM EDGES ARE MINT AND TOTALLY UNWORN, WITH THE LAMINATE RUNNING FROM CORNER TIP TO CORNER TIP.

THE SPINE ALSO HAS ALL OF THE LAMINATE INTACT AND AGAIN THERE IS NO PEEL, OR FLAKE . EVEN DOWN TO THE TOP AND BOTTOM TIPS WHICH ARE JUST BARELY RUBBED. THE SURFACE IS VERY FLAT WITH A FEW LIGHT DIMPLES STOPPING IT BEING TOTALLY FLAT. ALL OF THE TYPEFACE IS IMMACULATE, AND PERFECTLY LEGIBLE HOWEVER

THE OPENING EDGE IS STILL VERY SHARP

THE REAR SURFACE IS AGAIN FREE FROM ANY HEAVY CREASING AND BENDS.AND IS IN THE SAME TOP CONDITION AS THE FRONT, WITH JUST A FOUR LITTLE LAMINATE LINES ALONG THE SPINE, NONE ON THE TOP EDGE, THREE ON THE BOTTOM EDGE, AND NO THUMB LINES

OPENING THE GATEFOLD REVEALS TWO PRISTINE INNER PANELS

THE  WHITE POLY LINED INNER SLEEVE  WITH THE BLUE TEXT IS UNSPLIT AND UNCREASED, THERE IS NO DAMAGE . VERY LIGHT EDGE AGEING

THE SLEEVE GRADES MINT MINUS
