CUSTOMER UPDATE SEPTEMBER 2022
For the past 2 years GG_Supersounds has been listing records that in the main are in Mint or very close to it condition. We continue to track down and list the very best records that we are able to for our ever growing customer base For those that have been with us over that period of time will know that there are two business partners listing on the site. One from Horsham and the other from Bognor Regis From time to time this has been confusing for our customers as there often 2 invoices to pay where purchases are made from different locations by one customer To rectify this we have decided that the Horsham location will continue to list on GG_Supersounds, whilst the Bognor Regis location will now list on GG-Superstuff.
IT WILL STILL BE POSSIBLE TO BUY FROM BOTH LOCATIONS AND HAVE COMBINED SHIPPING, BUT THIS WILL BE RELIANT OF THE TWO OF US MEETING UP, AND WILL THEREFORE USUALLY TAKE MORE TIME, BUT IT IS DO-ABLE
Nothing Else Changes - Still the same superb selection of the best records will be available

For the protection of all concerned we only send signed for and tracked and signed

THE RECORDS

THE LABELS

THE APPLE LABELS ARE IN MINT CONDITION. THE DARK GREEN SIDES ARE VERY RICH AND VIBRANT, AND HAVE LOST NONE OF THE COLOUR AT ALL. THE BLACK TYPEFACE IS BOLD AND PERFECTLY LEGIBLE. THE WHITE SIDES ARE VERY WHITE AND HAVE NO MARKS OR STAINS AT ALL ON EITHER SIDE. THE SPINDLE HOLES ARE UNWORN.

THE VINYL

THE VINYLS HAVE RETAINED ALL OF THEIR ORIGINAL SHEEN AND IN DAYLIGHT LOOK TOTALLY FLAWLESS, AND EVEN WHEN PLACED UNDER SPOTLIGHTS THERE ARE IS JUST NOTHING TO SEE OTHER THAN A FEW VERY FINE AND WISPY HAIRLINES

THE TEST PLAY

ONE OF THE FRUSTRATIONS WITH THIS ALBUM IS THAT IT IS OFTEN FOUND TO LOOK GOOD, BUT AS SOON AS THE STYLUS HITS THE VINYL A DISTORTION TO THE RECORDED SOUND IS HEARD USUALLY THROUGH JUST ONE SPEAKER. I HAVE LOST COUNT OF THE TIMES I HAVE FOUND WHAT I THOUGHT TO BE A GREAT SET ONLY TO BE LET DOWN WHEN PLAYING IT.

WHAT WE HAVE HERE IS A TOTALLY DISTORTION FREE PAIR OF VINYLS. NOT ONE JOT OF GROOVE WEAR ANYWHERE AT ALL, AND THE STEREO REPRODUCTION IS THEREFORE CRISP AND CLEAR AND PERFORMS LIKE A TRUE FIRST PRESS SHOULD

THIS FANTASTIC SET OF DISCS PLAYS WITHOUT ANY HEAVY BACKGROUND CRACKLE WHATSOEVER, AND NO LOUD CLICKS EITHER

NO EMBEDDED VINYL NOISE

NO FRYING BACON, NO GROOVE WEAR, NO LOUD CLICKS

SILENT OR NEAR SILENT LINKING GROOVES

NO BACKGROUND CRACKLE

ALL I HEARD DURING THE WHOLE FOUR SIDES WERE A COUPLE OF SMALL TICKS IN ROCKY RACCOON

THE ODD SPECK OF VERY LOW LEVEL AND ALMOST INAUDIBLE STATIC IN A LINKING GROOVE OR SILENT PASSAGE OR TWO

A FEW RANDOM MINUSCULE STATIC TICS

THIS IS AN AMAZING EXAMPLE OF THIS COLLECTABLE ALBUM

A DEL;IGHT TO BE ABLE TO GRADE THE AUDIO AS MINT MINUS

DON'T JUST TAKE MY WORD FOR IT THOUGH, TAKE A GOOD LISTEN AND JUDGE FOR YOURSELF. IT IS WORTH TAKING A LISTEN TO IT YOU WILL NOT BE DISSAPPOINTED

THE SLEEVE

A TRULY EXCEPTIONAL EXAMPLE OF THIS OFTEN TRASHED SLEEVE

STARTING WITH THE FRONT COVER

IT IS STILL VERY VERY GLOSSY AND NOT DULLED LIKE MANY

ALSO STILL A VERY CREAMY WHITE CONDITION AND NOT YELLOWED OR BROWNED LIKE SO MANY ARE

NO PRESSURE LINES BY THE SPINE

NO LAMINATE PEEL, LIFT OR FLAKE

THE UNIQUE NUMBER IS STILL VERY CLEAR WITH ALL OF THE DIGITS CLEAR AND UNFADED.

THE EMBOSSED BEATLES LOGO HAS ALL OF THE LAMINATE FIRMLY AFFIXED TO IT, NO PEEL OR FLAKE

NO PRESSURE LINES AGAINST THE TOP OR BOTTOM EDGES. ONE SMALL THUMB LINE UNDER THE TOP EDGE IS THE ONLY ONE ON THE FRONT COVER

THE FOUR CORNERS ARE SHARP AND SQUARE AND THERE IS NO RING WEAR OR RECORD SHAPE

THE TWO SIDE EDGES ARE PRISTINE WITH ALL OF THE LAMINATE FULLY RUNNING FROM CORNER TO CORNER, AND EVEN THE CORNER TIPS ARE UNBLEMISHED

THE BOTTOM EDGES ARE SIMILAR WITH A LITTLE RUB AT THE RIGHT CORNER TIPS

THE TOP OPENING EDGES ARE STILL VERY SHARP WITH JUST A FEW TINY SPECKS OF FEATHERING

THE SPINE IS TOTALLY FLAT AND UNSQUASHED, AND EVERY LETTER OF THE TYPEFACE IS PRISTINE AND PERFECTLY LEGIBLE. THE LAMINATE  LIKE MOST COPIES HAS FLAKED A LITTLE IN THE CENTRE GROOVE, BUT EVEN THIS IS VERY MINOR

THE REAR SURFACE IS EVERY BIT AS GLEAMING AND MARK FREE AS THE FRONT, NO LAMINATE LINES ANYWHERE. A PERFECT EXAMPLE

OPENING THE GATEFOLD REVEALS THE TWO INNER PANELS, WHICH ARE ALSO IN TOP CONDITION. NO DAMAGE TO THE FLIPBACKS

THE BLACK TWO INNER SLEEVES ARE IN PERFECT CONDITION. VERY UNUSUALLY THESE TWO HAVE NO SEAM SPLITS. NO CREASES AND NO NICKS OR TEARS TO THE DIE CUT HOLE.

TO ME THIS TELLS A STORY ON EXACTLY HOW THIS ALBUM HAS BEEN CARED FOR, BECAUSE NEARLY ALL OF THE BLACK INNERS HAVE DEFECTS, BUT NOT THIS PAIR

THE ORIGINAL GARROD AND LOFTHOUSE POSTER IS ALSO INCLUDED AND IS IN SUPERB CONDITION. SHARP FOLD LINES WITHOUT ANY HOLES IN THE FOLDS. NO PIN HOLES AT THE CORNERS AND NO DIRT OR GRIME ON THE POSTER

THE 4 PHOTOS ARE ALSO INCLUDED AND ARE ALSO IN MINT CONDITION.  THESE ARE ORIGINAL FIRST ISSUE PICTURES PRINTED ON HEAVIER CARD AND VERY GLOSSY

THE WHITE SPACER SHEET IS ALSO THERE. IT DOES HAVE A SMALL TEAR NEAR ONE CORNER AND ANOTHER CORNER FOLD LINE

A TOP GRADE EXAMPLE OF THIS SLEEVE AND IT WOULD GRACE ANY COLLECTION

THIS SLEEVE AND IT'S CONTENTS GRADE MINT MINUS

GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR BID IF YOU CHOSE TO GO FOR IT
