Up for auction is a copy of The Velvet Underground & Nico (the Banana album), released in 1967 on Verve, cat no VLP 9184. This is an original first UK pressing, and features the mono mix. Note: the first UK pressing has a non-gatefold flipback cover different from the US design, which does not feature the peelable banana.

Condition: the vinyl has quite a few surface marks & wear; it sounds better than it looks, but don’t expect a hi-fi experience. Clean labels. The cover has some laminate creases & general wear but no serious issues (no writing, tears, splits etc). Maybe G+ to VG- all round. I don’t use stock photos: the item pictured here is the item for sale.
