The Beatles’ 1962-1966 compilation, also known as the “Red Album,” was reissued in 1976 by Capitol Records (SKBO 3403) with mastering done at Sterling Sound and Capitol Mastering. This Jacksonville pressing, identifiable by a “0” in the run-outs, includes a diverse range of tracks produced by George Martin and written by Lennon-McCartney, highlighting the Beatles’ early musical journey. Over the years, the album has seen various versions including a 1993 CD release with new digital masters, a 2010 remastered edition, and a 2014 vinyl reissue. In 2023, it received a remix with an expanded tracklist, offering a modern reinterpretation of these timeless songs
