After regaining their confidence, the Beatles continued to work on a new album. However, without a clear concept like Get Back, the album was tentatively titled "Everest," a reference to a brand of cigarettes and the highest peak in the world. The album was eventually released as "Abbey Road," but it is interesting to note that many of the songs on the album were performed as unfinished demos at the Get Back sessions, and the prototypes for each song were recorded. DISC1 "Everest - Alternate" is the latest compilation of the album, which includes early takes of songs from the album, session recordings, and outtakes that were unreleased at the time, based on the concept of documenting the production of "Abbey Road" before its completion. Everest - The Alternate Abbey Road Album" is a pre-conceptual compilation of 18 songs that were not included on "Abbey Road," including "Come And Get It" and "Goodbye. These well-known songs and takes are also included in the latest remastered versions, with different mixes from the original releases. DISC 2, "Early Sessions of Abbey Road Tracks," is a collection of get-back tracks from the early stages of the recording sessions. DISC 2, "Early Sessions of Abbey Road Tracks," is another alternate album that recreates the "Abbey Road" album in the same order of the songs, focusing on material from the get-back sessions that preceded the actual recording sessions. The quality has been further improved from the previous "Get Back" related recordings, and the differences are obvious when you compare them. This time, the album cover is reversible, with one being the late Beatles "Revolver" type, as expressed by Klaus Boorman, and the other being the "Everest" type, which is a collage of the album as the title suggests, and can be turned inside out.
