Who's Better, Who's Best Review by Ben Davies (AllMusic)

Who's Better, Who's Best is a compilation of the Who's best-known songs, containing all of the familiar items -- "I Can't Explain," "I Can See for Miles," "Pinball Wizard," "My Generation," "Substitute" -- but presented without much care.

The album is further plagued by the presence of some filler tracks that really don't deserve to be on any best-of. Who's Better, Who's Best is, however, in its finer moments, a decent compilation. Indeed, the first half of this 1988 release collects nine of the most interesting rock tracks ever. Unfortunately, the compilation falters as it comes to a close.  Nevertheless, Who's Better, Who's Best is a solid career overview and is useful for both casual and hardcore fans.

Still a nice compilation of early and later hits and a 2xLP edition celebrating The Who's 25th anniversary.

Other tracks are "Anyway, Anyhow, Anywhere", "The Kids Are Alright", "For a Boy", "Happy Jack", "Pictures of Lily", "Who Are You", "Magic Bus", "I'm Free", "See Me, Feel Me", and and 4 more!

Note: Mono tracks on the album are A1-A4, B1, B2. C3.
