Initially released in 1966, this fine example is on the standard black and silver Parlophone label: R 5493.
A genuine EMI "Factory sample  - not for sale sticker" is adhered to the "Eleanor Rigby" side.  Both solid centre labels have the "Sold in UK" & "The Gramophone Co" rim texts. The"KT" purchase tax code appears in both run-outs. 
Matrices: 7XCE 18396  - 1 and 7XCE 18395 - 1
Stamper codes: 3 KT MMR and 2 KT MMR
