Up for auction are five Beach Boys one-sided acetates on Capitol labels. Titles are Be True to your School, In My Room, Little Saint Nick, Papa Oom Mow Mow and Louie Louie. I purchased these in the early 1990s from a serious Beach Boys collector/dealer; they have numerous radio station markings, but their authenticity has never been proved, and I have been advised they may be fakes. Buyer beware, but either way they’re at least thirty years old.

Condition: some chinagraph markings on dead wax (notating cuepoints), some areas of “fading” on vinyl not affecting play, but no other serious issues. VG+ all round.
